Product: Carling Beer
Client and Placement:
My advert will be played between 12:00 in the afternoon and 19:00 in the evening. My advert does not promote late night drinking, as many accidents happen when people get drunk. My radio advert will be played on the Smooth Radio station.
Script:
For my script I've chosen to make it into like a a little poem about the goodness of Carling:
(Music Plays)
MVO:
"It's sneaky little tiny thing that comes without no call
the moment you think you have conquered it
is when you have lost it all.
MVO:
Wherever you are going
or wherever you may be
don't think that it won't find you
or that you'll ever be set free"
Slogan/Tag Line:
'Carling, It'll make you agree'
Length/Timing:
The length for my Carling radio advert is 60 seconds. I chose this specific time as I wanted my ad to be brief, simple but effective. Long adverts tend to bore the audience.
Radio Station:
I've chosen to use Smooth Radio as the station which will play out my advert. The radio station I have chosen is Smooth radio. the reason being that smooth radio reaches 3,153,000 (6%) adult listeners each week. This would help my radio advert to reach a lot of people.
Brief Description:
I've chosen to do a Carling advert, reason being that there are many alcohol lovers out there and i want my advert to appeal to those who do not drink the Carling Brand, and to those who do.
Production Method:
I will be making my radio advert using the college's facilities for example the radio studio, the Mac computers

Target Audience:
My target audience is people who love alcohol and those who don't. I've chosen to also target those who do not love alcohol in hoping to persuade them with my advert.
USP (Unique selling point):
The unique selling point of my radio advert will be the goodness of it, and it's addictive qualities.

Style of Music bed:
For my music i will use either classical music or have no music bed at all. This is because i want what i'm saying to be the main focus of attention, i want the audience to only focus on what i'm saying.

Budget Information
I will need to consider the budget in terms of the cost for the time slot which i want and paying the Smooth Radio station to advertise my advert. In terms of the cost, getting the equipment and getting the time slot at the studio to record would are the only aspects which are gonna be costly.

Very clever idea to use a poem as your script. Overall treatment plan is well detailed and thorough. Consider your radio advert style in terms of the way you will be talking and wanting to sound.
